The Benefits of E-mail Reporting

There are several benefits to using Google Looker Studio e-mail reports. First, it saves you time. Rather than having to log into your account every day or week to check on your data, you can just set up a report to be emailed to you automatically. With these google Looker studio automated e-mail reports, you can always see how your website is performing and make changes as needed without spending extra time logging in and out of your account.

Another benefit of using google Looker studio automated reports is that it allows you to share your data with others easily. Rather than having to send them screenshots or export your data into a different format, you can just send them a link to your report. This makes it easy for them to view your data and understand what’s going on without taking extra steps.

How E-mail Reporting Works in Looker Studio

Just navigate to the “Share” button available in all Looker Studio reports. This allows you to choose the “Schedule e-mail delivery” option. You can adjust the frequency of e-mail delivery, the pages shared in the e-mail, and the e-mail topic and message in the pop-up.

You can personalize the topic and body of e-mails according to your requirements. Once the box is checked, it’s simple to provide a subject line and add a comment that will be shared each time the report is received.

Lastly, click the “Schedule” button after you have set up everything. And that’s all. Your report will now be automatically sent to your recipients according to your chosen timetable.

Pages: This option allows you to choose which sites to share in your e-mail. The menu supports several selections.

Repeat: Besides the presets, such as Daily, Weekly on Monday, and so forth, this option also regulates the cadence. Additionally, you can choose a “Custom” plan, which is relatively versatile and lets you select the frequency and particular start dates.

Limitations

  • Each report is limited to one e-mail schedule.
  • The e-mail address used to send the scheduled e-mail cannot be changed. Google Looker Studio (data-studio-noreply@google.com) is the sender of all e-mails. The sender’s address is now permanently displayed in scheduled e-mails “through Google Looker Studio,” though.
  • The recipient list always includes the owner. This feature could become problematic when scheduling more than 3 to 4 e-mails.

They also allow you to easily share your data with others by simply sending them a link. If you’re not already using Looker Studio e-mail reports, we recommend giving them a try!
